BIOGRAPHY
The part man / robot, the action movie addicted killing machine, THE REANTIMATOR, was conceived - nay - INCEPTED - at some point in the early part of the 20th Century.
By the time the 1920's came 'round - he / it began to sit up and take notice of the swashbuckling movies of the day. Movies starring, predominantly, Douglas Fairbanks as an ass-kicking hero fighting this, that or the other - swinging hither and thither and getting in fights.
At that point, his / it's addiction was mearly a slight case of "geekdom", nothing too uncontrollable...then the 1960's / 70's came around!
BOOM! He / It was knee deep in an all-encompassing, full-throttle drug-like haze. He / It devoured every action movie from the likes of Bullitt, The French Connection 1 & 2, Dirty Harry (and it's sequels), Peckinpah movies...you name it.
Then, adding to his / it's already terrible thirst, he / it was exposed to the lushious glory that is the asian action 'n' Kung Fu Movie.
Bruce Lee movies, Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao movies...Shaw Brothers movies...Golden Harvest movies...Thai movies...South Korean movies...Japanese movies...No matter what year it was made, where it was made, or by whom it was made - Reantimator lapped that shizzle up with a passion that knew no limits or boundaries.
Now, it's the 21st century, and his / it's hunger still has not been sated. He / it still walks from DVD store, to DVD store - looking for fresh and new titles. If it features blistering stunt sequences, Kung Fu fighting (even those featuring cartoon Pandas), explosions, or even the odd old-skool Rocky-style training montage, he / it will lap it up like the ACTION MOVIE ADDICT that he / it is!
